Watford Borough Council in association with Palace Theatre organised Diwali fest on 25th October 2015. Arrangements marked variety entertainment programmes including Marathi songs and dance and light effects around pond. Large eco friendly idols of Lord Ganesha and Hanuman were highlights of the event. There were a number of food and drink stalls to cater the large audience that was in attendance.

`Earthen Oven’ served traditional Maharashtrian style Diwali delicacies like Anarase, Karanji, Chakli and Chivda. All made and sold in Watford, (probably the first time?)
These sweet and savouries were sold along with sumptuous dishes like Misal Pav, Vada Pav, Idli Chutney and Pav Bhaji. All food was tremendously appreciated and everything sold out very quickly. Thanks attendees for your love and encouragement.
